The summer is in full swing and hot parties are conquering the planet. What’s a better way to enjoy a summer event than to drink a cool and delicious cocktail? All the classic cocktails and drinks have been tried more than once and people are getting tired of the humdrumness. Unless you are a professional chef and know all the ins and outs of the cocktail world, these eight recipes can make your next party as cool and exciting as possible.
- Watermelon and Tequila
Watermelon is a must-have piece of the summer in any region. Whenever the watermelons are in abundance, you can create a tasty cocktail. Take the seedless watermelon, puree the chunks and strain the juice. Mix the juice with golden tequila and some sugar syrup. Add some fresh lime juice and a couple of mint leafs. Don’t forget the ice!
- Green Tea and Orange
Cool green tea can be amazingly delicious all on its own. But if you add some orange slices and agave nectar, you can get an unforgettable non-alcoholic cocktail. Making it alcoholic is even easier. Just add a splash of vodka and the best party drink is ready. You can replace vodka with silver tequila if you wish.
- Fresh Cherry Bourbon
The pure taste of bourbon just doesn’t cut it anymore? Create a mix that won’t take the alcohol out of it but will add a delectable flavor. Add fresh cherries and vanilla extract into the glass and pour some bourbon in. Plenty of ice cubes is a must. Consider taking the cherry pits out for a better flavor.
- Strawberry and Lemon Mojito
And here comes another mojito. For this one, you’ll need a cocktail shaker. Cut up one lemon into wedges and put it into the shaker with 5 large strawberries and 20 mint leaves. Add some ice, rum, sugar, and juice. After shaking, strain into a glass, which is filled with crushed ice.
