- Better Taste
Did you know that the food tastes better when you use a reusable plate and real cutlery? Heavier plates, forks, and bowls don’t physically make the food taste better. Surprisingly enough, it’s all in your mind. Your mind views a reusable plate as a more “respectable” place to eat food out of, which means you automatically consider it tastier.
- Convenience
Even the sturdiest dispensable plates can’t fit too much food. More often than not, you have to support the plate with both hands and hope it doesn’t fly to the ground before you get to your seat. Meanwhile, plastic cutlery is hard to use when you want to cut a piece of meat. Forks tend to break and knives just aren’t sharp enough.
- Durability
Obviously reusable plates are more durable than paper or plastic. You’ll never find yourself cutting through the china. Meanwhile, feeling your knife cutting through a paper plate is a common occurrence. Plastic knives might not do a good job cutting the food but they always seem ready to ruin a thin plate.
- Storage space
Reusable dishes take up plenty of space. At the same time, you always have to worry about whether you have enough of them. People view dispensable plates as a one-time deal. So they throw them into the garbage every chance they get to go and get a new one.
- Money
The last but not the least is money. Dispensable plates, cups, and cutlery are cheaper than reusable dishes but in the long run, you’ll be spending much more money on them.
