Highest Paid Movie Actors of 2016. Part 2
We continue with the highest paid actors of the past year.
Jennifer Lopez — $39.5
Lopez is continuing to make her magnificent career. She is a singer, movie star, show judge, etc, etc, etc. Judging American Idol brought “Jenny from the block” over 17 million dollars. Lopez also got a role in Shades of Blue. She became the voice of Shira in Ice Age: Collision Course. She has a dance show, works on a fragrance line, and more. No wonder her paycheck is huge.
- Ben Affleck — $43 million
Ben Affleck just can’t put it to rest. He is now a superhero! 44-year old is playing Batman in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. Affleck is also directing the Bat movies as well as his Justin League projects. Ben keeps himself busy and his wallet full even though, compared to earlier years, the Batman gig is not bringing the famous actor too much money.
- Jennifer Lawrence – $46 million
Here comes another superhero. Jennifer Lawrence won an Oscar for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. Now she plays Mystique in the X-men franchise. Her superhero roles are getting her nice paychecks. She is now the highest paid female actor in the world.
- Johnny Depp -$48 million
The highest paid actor’s list wouldn’t be complete without the world famous pirate Johnny Depp. Even though Alice’s sequel wasn’t as popular, it still earned Johnny huge amounts of money for his return as the Mad Hatter. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which will be released in May, is bringing Depp some serious cash.
- Tom Cruise — $53 million
Even though we see less of Tom Cruise than we used to, it doesn’t mean he is looking for work. He keeps starring in huge movies and making a lot of dough. Tom doesn’t just take on stellar roles, he produces his own movies, which boost his paychecks. Jack Reacher: Never Go Back was a huge 2016 sequel that earned Cruise a nice amount of cash.
