A group of skilled taiko drummers and is based in Los Angeles, California. The group starts in the year 2000, and is led by Bryan Yamami, and Masato Baba. The group promotes gender-balance, and multi-culture; and the performers’ names are Courtney Deguchi, Jen Baik, David Wells, Tomomi Hongo, Yumi Saito, Liz Ishida, Jenny Mimura, Andrew Chen, Keiko Harada, Doug Sakamoto, Brian Yamagata, and Darren Endo. Since its founding, they have garnered critical acclaim from all over the world and amassed an impressive resume. The group is the first American group to win the Tokyo International Taiko Contest 2005. They have also performed in 2009 Academy Awards, the 2011 Grammy Awards, NBC’s «The Voice,» Syfy’s Face/Off, Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live, the 91X X-Fest, and the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
